Masters in educational intervention in social contexts (UNED)

This professional and research based Masters offers three specialities: animation and socio-cultural intervention, quality of life in adults and elderly people and intervention with young people and minors in social difficulties. All students must study a complete specialisation, which includes both research and professional orientation.

 

The Masters will be completed in one year. It consists of 60 ECTS credits, including the final piece of work. The work placement module makes up 10 ECTS credits (250 hours) and will take place in practice centres, directly related to the professional areas included in the different itineraries of the Masters program. Practice centres will be selected with innovative, and especially relevant projects, and with active teacher-learning methods. Each student will be part of an educational team and each team will have a tutor.

Masters in socio-educational intervention with minors and families (University of the Balearic Islands)

The key objective about this programme is to educate all the structural and dynamic elements of families, provided with diverse social sciences and education, as well as strategies about socio-educationalintervention with minors and family, in a way that students can start a doctorate in this field with a solid interdisciplinary basis or respond to the scientific demands and to intervention techniques in this field that the institutions and services require in this area.

 

The Masters is made up of 60 credits, divided into three modules – Theoretical aspects, Methodological aspects and intervention with minors and families–and offers 13 credits of placement. These include the final piece of work at the end of the Masters and the external work placements, in the case of the professional itinerary; or even the work directed to the Advanced Investigator Capacity, in the case of the investigation itinerary.

Masters in the intervention and emancipation of young people in social conflict (University of Santiago de Compostela & Igaxes3)

This Masters is aimed at training specialists in the fields of autonomy and emancipation for young people in transition from out-of-home facilities, ex-warded, in custody, with judicial measures and with school absenteeism problems. Its specific objectives include;acquiring necessary skills to prepare and promote autonomy and the emancipation of young people in social conflict, enabling the participants have the ability to manage and maintain the functioning of residential resources for young people in social conflict and to get to know the minor’s protection and reform system in Galicia.

 

Organised by the University of Santiago and Igaxes3, with the collaboration of the Trébol Foundation of Social Initiative, the work experience programme is made up of 594 working hours, of which 354 will be carried out in social institutions in Galicia and also in protection centres for minors within the Galician council. The Masters also offers a job database with eight work contracts to work on projects undertaken by Igaxes3 and the Trébol Foundation.
